The importance of POS
Point of Sale (POS stands for Point-Of-Sale ) is the control center of a restaurant.(tablet epos)
The POS communicates with all areas of the restaurant to exercise control over them 24 hours a day. Everyone is involved in any way with the POS:
Restaurant staff
guests
Managers and executives
In this publication, we will discuss why the POS is the critical component of every successful restaurant and restaurant exactly what tasks solved.(epos systems)
The POS communicates with staff in different ways
Schedules and out - is able to restrict or report the inputs and outputs of staff outside their schedule
Timesheet - is also able to keep track of the hours that a particular employee was present at the restaurant
Report tips per employee - Through the sales report can keep track of tips entered in cash and by card
Human Resources - By capturing and storing all labor data for each employee
Messages - is also able to manage emails and reminders for each and every employee
For the guest, the POS system is the artifice of a memorable experience
Reservations can be internal through POS or through an external system that can communicate with the POS. Some systems such as NCR Aloha include functionality waiting list and are even able to notify via pagers ( pagers ) or smartphones (epos system)
The POS is also capable of handling the orders of the guests and take them to the appropriate preparation area, which is better, they can be raised by any member of staff: waiters, baristas, captains, etc. even through telephone, online or mobile application.
In addition, a POS takes control of the account of each guest, according to the items ordered, their modifiers as well as discounts and additional charges.
The guest can pay your bill in any way: cash, credit, debit, gift card, electronic purse, membership fee to the hotel room and even from your smartphone. One of the most important tasks that solves the POS is the division of the account in different forms of payment.
Management and rewards points programs loyalty is critical in a restaurant and the POS will always have this kind of functions envisaged as an integral part of their reason to exist.(takeaway epos systems)
For managers and operators, the possibilities are almost endless
Alerts for costs, discounts or excessive cancellations
Handling tables with waiting time and sales reports for each table
Inventory control at the level of ingredients together with the calculation of selling prices based on production costs(restaurant epos)
Management reorders to suppliers based on stocks in inventory
Accounting reports and filters per employee by menu item, category, department, type of payment, revenue per day, operating costs and much more

The pool water
The pool water is a living environment that is constantly evolving and rapidly depending on temperature, time, pollution from the environment (pollen, insects, plants ...), number of bathers (A clean body pollutes up 6 m3 of water), sun creams, etc ...(Chlorinator repairs)
The pH is part of the analysis of water (with the analysis of disinfectant rate) and it must be measured regularly. This is one of the first stages of water treatment.
What is PH? What is the ideal pH for my pool? Why maintain an ideal pH? What can vary the pH? How to measure the pH? Correcting the pH?
pH definition
PH, or hydrogen potential , represents the concentration of hydrogen ions in the water. It determines whether the water is acidic or basic. Its value can be between 1 and 14.
A pH of 7 is equivalent to a neutral water
A pH greater than 7 is equivalent to a water is alkaline or basic
A pH less than 7 is equivalent to an acid water(pump repairs)
What is the ideal pH for my pool?
Namely : The pH of the water balance is determined on the day of filling the pool. It is then stable. It must then be maintained if it is between 7.2 and 7.6.
If at the base, your water is too limestone (pH = 7.8, for example), it is advisable to get off this pH. But this unbalanced pH will tend to rise each day. It will therefore treat every day until the pH is rebalancing the ideal pH.
Why keep the water of the pool at an ideal pH?
Achieve an ideal level of pH is important for several reasons:
> The different processing products are more effective
Best action of disinfectants (especially chlorine)
A well balanced pH provides better maintenance of the chlorine content.(replacement cell repairs)
Optimal use of flocculants
The flocculant used for sand filters less effective when the pH rises.
Above 7.6, it is common that flocculant instead of precipitating, solubilizes: it then passes through the filter and can induce post flocculation in the basin. The water becomes cloudy.
Best algaecide
Algae proliferate more in high pH (green water, green stains on the walls).
> No damage to the equipment
Fasteners, coating, water filtration system, etc.
> Best bathing comfort (services)
The pool water is less irritating to swimmers (skin, eyes, mucous membranes) at a pH between 7.2 and 7.4.
Namely : A good pH ensures almost complete oxidation of chloramines. These latter are produced by the action of chlorine on nitrogenous materials submitted by bathers, such as sweat. They cause irritation of the eyes and respiratory tract, and is responsible for unpleasant odors.
